After this, listeners desire their Favorite artist to sing in many more languages. Even the listeners of English artists desire that singers sing in different languages.

Then those listeners themselves try to make covers of songs in multiple languages using the singer’s voice through AI.

But AI music is not just limited to listeners. Few artists in the music industry are open to welcoming AI music into the music industry. 

Some artists think that instead of fully depending on AI music, musicians can use it just for brainstorming and creative purposes. Because it might lose the authenticity of the music. 

And there are also a few artists who are completely against this concept. They believe that AI music will take over the industry. 

Common people who don’t even have knowledge about music will use artificial intelligence to produce and release the music. 

Numerous artists around the world will lose their identity as singers.

The famous boyband BTS’ agency, Hybe Music Label, has been using AI for its artist Midnatt to release his songs. By using AI music, they have mixed the artist’s voice with artificial intelligence to produce songs in 6 different languages.

Hybe now claims that this six-language song was the first music in multiple languages, and now they are planning to pave the way for a new concept where artists and AI can work together. 

However, the agency might be able to pave the way, but when we analyze how AI music functions in the music industry, we might come across many advantages as well as disadvantages for AI music, which may include:

• AI music can work as a muse, which can help artists brainstorm while creating music.
• When singers collaborate with artificial intelligence, the song they produce will be of a new style, and there will be workflow efficiency.
• AI will enhance the quality of human-made music by adding its touch.
• With the help of AI Music, singers can write a song, and when composing it, they can try different tunes and melodies and make a trial version of the song.
• It will open a box of endless creativity for artists that will help them be inspired and motivated while creating music and releasing it on different platforms.

• The authenticity of AI still stands in question, as there are millions of songs in this world, and we don’t know if the AI music that is created is original or not.
• AI mimics the voice of real people, and real voices are being stolen, and people don’t even get credit for it.
• Lack of emotional appeal and human touch in AI music.
• Competition for many singers.
• Some artists or employees who work in the music industry might lose their jobs.

You might have come across Drake’s music controversy about the song “Heart on My Sleeve”. This song was released on TikTok by an unknown user, and the voice in the song was that of Drake. 

Though the lyrics were human-written, the song was produced using AI music. After Drake confirmed that he didn’t release this music, this song was officially taken down. 

After which, Universal Music Group sent letters to  major streaming platforms like Spotify and YouTube to remove all the AI generated songs.

So this makes us question whether, in the future AI music will get a place on music streaming platforms or not.
